Lesson learned with my friend: Never let your husbands go anywhere without a cell phone because a quick trip to make snowmen turns into a 3 hour long trek in the wrong direction to get a drunk person home..

Lesson learned by myself: If you actually want to spend your anniversary with your husband, don't plan a party because it'll turn into guy's night while you sit at home drinking wine.

no offense trendyprof, although I don't think you're dumb enough to make this mistake lol

So today we had a little holiday/anniversary get together, and because of the weather only had people in the building come. It was Jaime, her husband, Michael, their baby, and our friend Doug.

Around 8pm the guys decide it would be a good idea to build a snowman near the garage entrance tonight so tomorrow when people actually go out in the snow they'll laugh.

The guys bundle up and venture out, leaving Jaime, Kayda and I in the apartment. 20mins ago (10:30pm) Jaime says she's tired and the baby needs to go to bed.

I say I'll get dressed and go find them. My phone rings a couple of minutes later and it's a number I don't know but I answered anyway, and it was Daniel asking for directions.

me: hello?
daniel: hey, pull up google maps please.
me: where are you?
daniel: escorting an inebriated woman back to her home but need directions. We're at 36 and ____, can you tell me how to get to the 2800 block?
me: (without google maps) turn around and walk till you get to 28th.
daniel: oh, that makes sense i guess.

THREE AMERICAN SOLDIERS CANT FIGURE OUT THAT THE 2800 BLOCK IS BY 28th STREET? Seriously? Men don't need directions?

I'm going to have to be a bad host and ask Doug to go home, and Jaime asked me to have Michael go home when they get back.

But how in the world does a trip to build a snowman become 3 hours long and include a trek in over a foot of snow to some drunk woman's house.

In the wrong direction?

Boogers (what I'm calling the kitten now because he's sick) got me sick :(
I woke up after sleeping for 3 hours with a wicked cough.
I was just sick a week ago and haven't even been healthy for a week yet :(
Oh well, it's done and he's so cute.

I'm not really sure what fanatic is for Day 15.. so I'll just skip it lol

I hadn't posted a picture because I wanted to make sure we were keeping the kitty. Daniel had talked to Doug about taking him since lil bit* and the fig weren't getting along, but they're much better now. I got upset that he was making arrangements to give him away when we hadn't even had him for 24 hours and this is still an adjustment time.

*I'm calling him Lil Bit until we get a name for him :)

I look horrible in this pic but I love it because he's smiling :)

OH brother. We got another kitten yesterday. We went to help my friend Kevin pick one out for himself and Daniel fell in love with one. Kevin got it for us as a Christmas gift but we can't decide a name!

I posted a poll on my website, so please vote! It's open for a week and then whatever has the most votes will be the name of our newest addition.

I got Daniel sick and so I made him some Matzo Ball Soup<3 He had it all and so I made myself some teriyaki chicken noodle--om nom nom <3

Today I signed up for the Energy Club down the street. I am going to their spinning class tomorrow and have an appointment with a personal trainer Thursday afternoon.

Also went to NVCC and got my in-state tuition set up. I am enrolled for 15 credits and am very excited :)

We redid our budget and are only having $25 a payday to spend on ourselves, the rest will go to savings and bills. If we stick to it, his dell card (with a ridiculous 29% interest rate) will be paid off by May, and then another card will be paid off by July, and then we can focus on the other two!

I hope we stick to it, the biggest issue is food. But we set up a regular meal schedule also and are planning on eating better on top of my working out. Daniel wont work out but the eating will help him fit in his jeans again lol

When we met he weight 130lbs, wore a size 28 (bought 30s that were baggy) and now he's up to 185lbs and 36s! I like him with meat on his bones but he's not happy lol

I hope that by April I will have lost enough weight to join the Army, but I hope even more that my credits will transfer back to AU and I can go to OCS instead of enlisting.. I was only 8 credits away and now I'm taking 15!

Day 6 My Biggest Pet Peeve: people who think it's acceptable to fart/burp without saying excuse me in public.

So we're back from Pennsylvania and it was an interesting trip. We had sessions Friday night and Saturday morning/early afternoon. Around 4pm we went to the King of Prussia mall<3 I love it and hope I can go back with my mom one day lol We were stuck waiting in the snow for a while for the shuttle back to the hotel, but when we got back we drank a bottle of wine and were very happy.

This morning we had breakfast at the hotel and headed to downtown Philadelphia and the first thing Daniel and I did when we got off the bus was walked to Pat's and Geno's. I loved the one from Pat's and Daniel likes the one from Geno's. He loved Pat's until he tried Geno's but to me Geno's tastes similar to Charley's Subs in the food court of my favorite malls growing up.. lol

We had a free sub courtesy of the Army from Jim's but it was no where near as good. At least I can cross off another thing from my 101 in 1001! :)

And over the weekend I got over 1000 views! So exciting!

Last night I uploaded a small portfolio to my website. My first portfolio took forever to do and it got messed up so I redid that in a day just so I could put it up. I'll be changing the pictures around anyway right?

Now I'm in the middle of cleaning and packing, our bus leaves tomorrow at 11am and I'm excited but sad that the Fig wont be with us. New York is such a pain. I looked up the weather for White Plains for next week and just did a historical summary for the time period we're there.

The Average High Temperature is 49 F with a historical range of 30 F to 68 F.
The Average Low Temperature is 36 F with a historical range of 19 F to 57 F.

So anywhere from 19 to 68. I could've said that. My mom told me not to bring many clothes since she's going to take me shopping, but it would still be nice to know what I'm packing for you know?

Daniel made me laugh just now. He sent me a video of this excavator climbing a tower and said he wanted one. What's he going to do with an excavator? Climb shit. OK DANIEL.

I apologize for making it seem like I have ADD. I don't, lol I just keep the window open for a while until I can think of something to write about, otherwise you'd get single line entries

oh man what a long day.

i got up around 6 when daniel was getting ready for CQ. cleaned the apartment, put out catalogs, came back and baked cookies, and kevin came over around 2. he took me to dinner to celebrate my birthday and we had korean bbq in annandale., SO good<3

jaime and her family just left after coming over to use our printer and hanging out for over an hour. i'm exhausted!

and i've got around a dozen chocolate peanut butter cookies left. breakfast? perhaps ;)

I'm probably the most impatient person in the world.

Daniel and I got our pictures taken yesterday, and I want them NOW lol I'm most likely getting them before the weekend since I told him we're going to NY for my birthday, but there's no guarantee and I want to see how they came out..

It was nice having someone take pictures of us instead of having my tripod up and running into place in a ten second timeframe, but I did like that we had the pictures that same day.

He has CQ today, so last night I made him mini muffins to snack on. Very similar to chocolate chip pancakes in mini muffin form. Now I'm cleaning up the apartment since people are supposed to come over and I have AVON stuff everywhere. Whoops!

I ordered business cards and when I went to check out they had a stamp advertised. I went to edit the stamp and instead the fuckers charged me $10 for a stamp with my name on it. What am I supposed to do with a stamp of my name? Nothing. And I immediately clicked "how to change/cancel my order" and I can't if it's processing.

I'm really pissed off that there was no confirmation page and that they charged me with one click of a button. Yeah, it's only $10, but that $10 could have bought me a lot of samples for work, or an actual stamp that I could use.
